Interstate 77 Williamson Road to Brawley School Road
(Phase Two) Contract Let Late 2027 with Proposed Construc}on Start Early 2028. The Bridge & in front of the
Venue will have a speci昀椀c }meline set by the NCDOT as
part of this project.
Bridge Expansion
Impact to Venue is Only the Below and }ming during
the project will have advance no}ce speci昀椀c to the impacted
area. It will Start end of 2027? and start at either Brawley
School Road and come south to the Venue, then the Bridge
expansion then to Interstate 77.
Current Construc}on on both sides of the Bridge are by
the Gas Company to relocate Gas Pipeline and ends end of
August 2026. Est and must return land to visually pleasing
condi}on un}l road construc}on starts. Strict restora}on
s}pula}ons (e.g., proper asphalt compac}on, reseeding
green spaces) as a condi}on of being allowed to dig up
local infrastructure.
The exis}ng 2-lane bridge carrying Williamson Road across Lake
Norman will be replaced with a new mul}-lane bridge that will
provide a minimum ver}cal clearance of 12 feet above Lake
Norman’s maximum pond eleva}on (760 feet). The new bridge
will include sidewalk on the east side and the side path on the
west side. There will be a greenway on both sides of the bridge!
Post Road Widening
The current Venue Land will be impacted with only 18 昀琀 from the
current road on this parcel. During Construc}on, we will have a
privacy & sound removable fence between the Building and the
construc}on. We will have a gravel access from the current road
into the venue newly
installed security
Future Flex Fencing for Privacy & Sound Mi}ga}on—We will have a 昀氀exible Fencing from
the Venue in front of the road, the road expansion and not able to see any construc}on,
or vehicles and will act as a further sound barriers. Fully Landscaped with
